National Advertising Conference 2019

The 2nd edition of the National Advertising Conference, an initiative of APCON in conjunction with all the sectoral groups in the advertising industry identified the need for such a conference as one way of raising the professional standing of advertising practice in Nigeria and to compel the attention of government, business leaders and policy makers as well as the general public to the impact and value of advertising.

It was a gathering of stakeholders in the industry ranging from marketing communications professionals in Nigeria and the diaspora, scholars, students with interest in advertising and the general public who are challenged by the environment, to discuss solutions and a growth path as well as to provide them with opportunity to network with specially invited government officials and business moguls.

The three-day world class event with the theme: “Advertising in the Post Digital Age: The profession, the business and Nigeria’s socio-economic development” took place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, in the nation’s capital city, Abuja from November 25 - 27, 2019.
