Professional Diploma in Advertising

PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN ADVERTISING

Candidates who desire to enrol in this programme must possess a Degree or Higher National Diploma in any discipline. All candidates are to enrol initially in part one and progress to parts two and three.

A Candidate whose degree or HND is in advertising, mass communications, marketing or graphics arts will be exempted from courses they have passed on the presentation of original and valid academic transcripts from the awarding institution.

Successful completion of this programme qualifies the candidate for the APCON Professional Diploma in Advertising, required for registration as associate member of the advertising profession.

MODIFIED EXECUTIVE PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION (MEPE):

This Program is open to only persons holding the positions of Chief Executive Officers of reputable advertising organisations. Advertising agencies, outdoor advertising companies and media independents, marketing directors of advertiser organisations and heads of advertising or commercial departments of reputable media organisations. They must have not less than eight years advertising experience and in addition possess a minimum of a university degree or HND in disciplines other than Advertising, Mass Communication, Marketing, Graphic Arts

Candidates who seek registration in this scheme are required to participate in a mandatory two day training course and pass a one-off examination conducted immediately after.

Successful candidates will be invited to apply for consideration as associate member.
